Versatility is the key to OPW Engineered Systems swivel
joints. They make it possible for you to use rigid metal piping for loading
and unloading caustic or hazardous chemicals, petroleum, liquids, dry products such as
grains, cement, and other material, under pressure or vacuum, without the difficulty
or danger of handling heavy, cumbersome hoses.
For applications where
a hose is necessary, OPW swivel joints mounted at the end of the hose eliminate
kinking and twisting, and reduce hose wear. When they are fitted to metal
frameworks and attached to hoses, swivel joints can guide the hose more easily
and keep uncontrolled hose from kinking and from denting or scratching tanks,
trucks, and other equipment. OPW swivel joints feature standard
combinations of five metals and five seal materials to meet most material handling
requirements. They can also be custom designed to conform to unique
specifications. Our state-of-the-art CAD (Computer Aided Design) system facilitates
faster, more accurate responses to your technical questions and request for quotations.
OPW manufacturing, welding and testing procedures meet or exceed industry
standards. Critical dimensions are machined within precise tolerances by CNC
equipment to meet rigid engineering specifications. Our welders are certified
to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX. All OPW swivel joint
assemblies are rigorously tested to ensure high quality. Additional testing,
including radiography and material certifications, are available as required.
For more than 60 years, OPW Engineered Systems has provided innovative solutions
to some of the most challenging liquid handling applications. In addition to swivel
joints, the company manufactures loading and unloading arms for critical industrial
needs, as will as a full line of sight flow indicators. |
