Using sight flow indicators you can efficiently and effectively visually monitor the flow of fluids to determine where, if any, problems exist at certain points along the industrial process line. These inexpensive, relatively simple devices are installed directly in the process line and allow operators to observe flow rate, direction, color and clarity through a glass viewing lens.
We offer a complete line of sight flow indicators, including the popular VISI-FLO® series by OPW. These indicators provide a quick, reliable way to monitor fluid lines. Available in a variety of sizes, styles and materials for a wide range of industrial applications, all OPW sight flow indicators are tested to 1-1/2 times rated pressure to ensure maximum reliability in a variety of conditions.
The complaint most often registered against sight flow indicators is that they leak, principally due to the failure of the conventional flat seals many use. VISI-FLO® is guaranteed not to leak for three full years under normal use. The key design attributes that enable innovative radial sealing design is so good, it’s guaranteed not to leak!
The unique bolt-on design fastens the face plate assembly directly to the body without any special torquing sequence. This provides quick access to the unit from the front side, which gives companies the flexibility to install VISI-FLO® in locations where other sight flow indicators are unable to be installed due to clearance problems.

Our swivel joints have a broad range of uses in the chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, refining, distilling, mining, brewing industries, as well as farm fertilizing and irrigation. Design, plant and maintenance engineers use swivel joints in flexible piping systems, loading arms, hose reels, sewer rodding and wastewater treatment applications, and various types of process machinery. Our swivel joints are also used in machine tool coolant transfer, drum filling applications, and in a variety of in-plant fluid and dry bulk transfer applications.
Versatility is the key to swivel joints. They make it possible for you to use rigid metal piping for loading and unloading fluids and dry product under pressure or vacuum without the difficulty or danger of handling heavy, cumbersome hoses. A swivel joint can feature combinations of five metals and five seal materials to meet most material handling requirements. They can also be custom designed to conform to your special specifications.
For applications where a hose is necessary, swivel joints mounted at the end of the hose eliminate kinking and twisting, and reduce hose wear. Fitted to metal frameworks and attached to hoses, the joints can guide the hose more easily and keep uncontrolled hose from kinking and denting or scratching tanks, trucks, and other equipment
In the fields of petroleum, chemical, refining, mining, distilling, brewing, and more there are hundreds of applications requiring the use of a ball swivel joint. These piping components rotate 360 degrees and permit the use of rigid metal piping for loading and unloading hazardous chemicals, petroleum, and other materials without the danger of handling cumbersome hoses.
We offer a wide range of equipment for efficiently loading and unloading petroleum products, chemicals, liquefied gases, and other materials. Our loading arms continue to be efficient and cost effective when loading railcars and tanker trucks. A top loading system offers sufficient horizontal range to reach the farthest compartment without re-spotting the vehicle. Sufficient vertical movement and drop-pipe lengths provide ease in servicing vehicles of varying heights. Top loading arms can also be used for tight-fill and vapor recovery applications when used with specially designed and engineered components, such as vapor plates, tapered hatch plugs, and inflatable hatch seals.

Couplers are extremely useful components in many industries. They are used to connect the ends of two shafts together in order to transmit power. Positive couplers can assist in transmitting rotary power from one shaft to another, where both shafts turn. The use of couplers permits some degree of misalignment or end movement.
There are many categories of shaft couplers and each of the different types have specific applications.
Rigid couplers. When there are requirements for the precise shaft alignment, the rigid coupler is used. There are also variations of this coupler such as the flange coupler and the muff coupler.
Torque limiting couplers. Can protect systems against conditions of over torque.
Flexible couplers. One function of this coupler is connection of a driving shaft or flange element with an adjacent in-line driven member. It must flex enough while rotating to accommodate, within limits, undesirable effects caused by axial misalignment, shaft end movement, and vibration between connected members. This kind of coupler can also be further divided into many other types (universal coupler, bellows coupler, disc coupler, jaw coupler, and gear coupler.
We carry Kamvalok® couplings, a dry disconnect which helps eliminate dripping before, during, and after loading, and Dry Lok couplers, the closest dry disconnect on the market. It features low pressure drops, along with very tight seal, allowing virtually no spillage.

The OPW Kamvalok® couplings we stock are the standard of the industry. They are primarily used around liquid transfer stations where product loss could occur, these couplings provide a reliable and dependable solution to prevent disastrous spillage during both connection and the disconnection processes. Because of its unique poppet action the coupling virtually eliminates spillage of any residual liquid contained within the line after disconnection.
Kamvalok® couplings are required at transfer points where product loss is unacceptable. Common applications include the manufacturing process of paint, lacquers, inks, adhesives, fatty acids, pharmaceuticals, liquid soaps, and a large range of other liquid products. The couplings are particularly well-suited for handling petroleum products, solvents, chemicals used in agriculture, vegetable oils, detergents and many acids and caustics.
- Spill Protection – Helps to reduce the hazards involved in the connection/disconnection process of transferring hazardous materials.
- Provides For Total Closed-Loop Loading Capabilities – When used with the OPW 2173N Vapor Recovery Dry Disconnect coupling protects people and property from dangerous and potentially costly exposure by keeping hazardous liquids and vapors in-line and out of the environment.
- Dual Protection – Provides automatic closure from both directions – the coupler and the adaptor.
- Ease of Use – The simple connection and disconnection design and lever actuated internal poppet configuration makes this the first choice for liquid transfer operations.
